When legendary Master Distiller Booker Noe created The Small Batch Bourbon Collection in the early 1990s, he didn't want to just make another "run of the mill" new whiskey. He wanted to bring real whiskey back. Knob Creek was created to restore standards of full-flavored, pre-Prohibition style whiskey.

Knob Creek Single Barrel Select represents the truest expression of full flavor. This experience gave The Brass Rail the unique opportunity to select a one-of-a-kind barrel that reflects what whiskey should be - the way it was meant to be - with a flavor that's all our own. 

So, how do we have our own bottle? Knob Creek sent TBR four bourbon samples hand selected in Clermont, Kentucky to provide a wide variety of distinct flavor profiles. We tasted the samples considering color, smell, taste and flavor and made our selections. Months later, we received our one-of-a-kind barrel of Knob Creek bourbon whiskey.
